New Year’s Resolutions…we all have them, but mine is one you might not expect.
I’m sure most of you think that PR professionals are comfortable speaking in front of any size group. The truth is the thought of public speaking scares me. That is why this January along with many others who start off the year with New Year’s Resolutions, I set out to conquer my fear and contacted Corey Saban from CS Media Works.
Like with anything, public speaking is something you practice. I just wasn’t sure how to “practice.” For the past two months I have met with Corey and we have done exercises and roll playing to become more comfortable speaking about various topics. He has provided me with tips for on-the-spot speaking.
I still have a ways to go, but I am on my way to overcoming my nerves and becoming comfortable with public speaking! If you have a similar fear, call Corey today at 561-626-9809 visit www.csmediaworks.com and I know he can help you too.

Placecard holders with a "Pop"
Placecard holders with a "Pop"
Who doesn't love to find a mini champagne bottle waiting for them at their seat? For a recent event we used Champagne "Pop" Bottles as placecard holders for a party. Some guests enjoyed them on the spot and others took them home as a party favor. We used the restaurant's decorative business cards, placed a label in the center to write the names and attached with a hole punch and ribbon. You can also get creative and design a custom hang tag with a photo or theme-related image and guest's name on card stock.
Congrats with a cork!
This same idea works great as a congratulations gift for a recent engagement or new job. We recently created a custom hang tag with a photo from a friend's engagement trip and added a personalized "Congratulations on your engagement!" message. It's a great keepsake or a memorable toast.
