Nate Berkus and Kelley Moore: Entertaining with things you have

It’s not often that I get to tune into the Nate Berkus Show but the recent segment “Entertaining with things you have” featured a great idea from Kelley Moore to give old silverware a fun twist. I loved the yellow handles made with Plasti Dip. Click here to view the how to segment.

So excited to find Sheridan French on Elements of Style Blog

I came across Sheridan French on one of my favorite blogs, Elements of Style. Not only are Sheridan French’s clothes adorable but so is she. Her tunics are bright and beautiful fabrics perfect for vacation, honeymoon or a fab party. Her blog “The Southern Eclectic” mixes fun fashion, pieces of her collection and funny…very funny commentary about balancing work, motherhood, etc. It is only since my sister recently had a baby, that I can appreciate “10 Step Program to Having Kids.” Enjoy!

Feature Contributor for The Party Dress Magazine's Premiere Issue

I was so excited and honored when Kelly Lyden from The Party Dress asked me to be a part of her premiere spring issue.

Spring reminds me of blooming flowers which gave me the idea of "Baby in Bloom" for a baby shower. When guests arrived they were greeted with pink lemonade in mason jars on birch wood trays by NH Woods Creations. The table centerpiece was assorted vases with reindeer moss, flowers, potted plants and "Baby" and "Girl" wood blocks by Camafatis Crafts. The flower napkin rings and B napkins were from Pioneer Linens with letterpress place cards from Sage Sister Press. The dessert table's centerpiece was a tiered tray with potted plants from Pottery Barn and a "Baby in Bloom" sign. There was an assortment of macaroons, flowers, cookies on a stick in wheat grass and spring flower cake by The Sugar Monkey. The favor was a "blooming" pink flowers in gold spray painted pots and "Baby in Bloom" letterpress signs on picks.

Good read: Bill and Giuliana Rancic’s new book “I Do, Now What?”

I started reading “I Do, Now What?: Secrets, Stories, and Advice from a Madly-in-Love Couple” and it takes you behind the scenes of their real life marriage and offers good advice on relationships, money and more. I had the chance to meet them this past weekend at the International Polo Club and they are such a cute and happy couple. To purchase a copy of the book, click here.

I read her first book on the way back from my sister’s bachelorette party (years ago) and read each following book as soon as it was released. Even more exciting is the movie “Something Borrowed” comes out May 6th. Click here for more information and to purchase a ticket.

Flipbook Creations…a hit at Liberty Coach Event

Flipbook Creations has been a hit at a few recent BBBPR&E’s events…a Christmas themed booth in December, a Valentine's Day themed Engagement Party and a Mad Hatter themed flipbook at the Liberty Coach Super Bowl weekend event.

So, what is a mobile flipbook studio? Simply put, it is an exciting and new product that can bring energy and social interaction to any event. In less than two minutes, your guests film a seven second video that they convert into individual frames. They cut and collate the frames into a flip book and wrap it in a customized cover. There is no waiting for your guests to have a custom keepsake that is fun, new and entertaining! Looking for a great way to get your guests, party goers or meeting participants interacting and excited? Flipbooks are there to create that buzz at your event through its contagious ability to get people involved.
