Rachel Zoe recently featured lover.ly on The Zoe Report and I am in love! So much eye candy! It is like a Pinterest but for brides. You can search by color, key word, what is popular and even take a style quiz that helps you narrow down photos that apply to your big day. I am working on my lover.ly boards and you can soon follow me and stay up-to-date on our latest weddings.

New Year's Eve is all about the glitz, glam and champagne, so I knew just how I wanted to translate this theme to the tabletop.
Palm Beach Parties created a pink, gold and white invitation to set the tone and a dinner menu that matched. For the centerpieces, I used a light pink and white chevron charger from Four Bugs in a Rug. I mixed gold mercury glass candlesticks from Michael's and added a few hydrangeas in votives. White square plates atop gold square chargers were used with assorted wine and champagne glasses from Tentlogix. To bring in the classic New Year's Eve theme, I incorporated gold party horns from Party City and more than 30 balloons above the table. To add a little more glitz and glam, I made some DIY gold sequin napkins.
For the midnight toast there was rose champagne with various sayings on drink stirrers by Heathoriginal and confetti packets to toss from The Flair Exchange. The backdrop of the dessert table was very popular tassel garland by The Flair Exchange. Southern Belle's Cakery created cupcakes with 2013 in fondant and countdown cake pops. So exciting to share the two parties, "Dinner in the Country" and "Coastal Cool," I styled for the new book, Palm Beach Entertaining by Annie Falk. Palm Beach Entertaining provides an insider's look at the lives and entertaining styles of some of the world's most accomplished hosts.
Dinner in the Country
This subtle yet elegant outdoor party used uplighting to illuminate the textural bark of the oak tree, while oversized silver lanterns filled with pillar candles flicker above a teak table set with zebra-print runners, silver sculptures of game fowl, and reflective square vessels holding an assortment of white bulb flowers.
Coastal Cool was all about layering. A floor-length ikat tablecloth is topped with a coarse linen runner, on which are placed corals, sea fans, and barnacles in a palette of neutral tones with pops of lavender. Hammered metal chargers sit beneath graphic Jacques Bernardaud plates and gold-rimmed, crystal wine goblets and simple water tumblers add the perfect mixed match effect.
