Napa Inspired "Eat, Drink and Be Married" Bridal Shower

We recently coordinated a Napa inspired bridal shower. The bride and groom to be are big foodies and love wine so we did an "Eat, Drink and Be Married" theme. Guests were greeted with Mason jars of lemonade and iced tea with purple and white striped straws from The Sugar Diva. The decor incorporated wooden lanterns filled with wine corks, bud vases with peonies and lace tablecloths. Wine from the Chalk Hill region where the wedding will be was served and an Italian style lunch was prepared by Christafaro's. Guests received Madeira cutting boards with a custom recipe card of the bride-to-be's signature chicken, feta and tomato dish.  The invite was custom by ElsieJ on etsy and purple napkins with the custom "Eat, Drink and Be Married" logo were made by Swoozie's

Engagement Shoot Styling by Julie Wilson, Brand and Event Stylist at Beth Beattie, Branding, PR and Events. Photography by Shea Christine Photography

Stacy has been one of my best friends since high school, so when she got engaged to James I was beyond excited for her. When it came time for her engagement shoot I was looking forward to adding simple touches that represented some of Stacy and James’ favorite things. So with the help from the amazing Shea, of Shea Christine Photography we went for a picnic theme at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, where there was a nice natural backdrop with trees and tall grass.

I am currently obsessed with the way balloons look in photos so when Shea brought us to an open field the balloons just added a perfect touch. Stacy loves the rustic, lace look of things, so for the picnic shot I found an old lace tablecloth we used as a blanket. James loves sweet tea and reese’s peanut butter cups so I wanted to add things that represent him too.  The couple plays a mean game of scrabble at least once a week so we incorporated that into the photos as well. Chelsea, the almost human like golden retriever was the absolute perfect finishing touch to their picnic save the date shot.

Chevron and Elephant Baby Shower

Inspired by the mom-to-be’s love for Chevron and elephants, we had a custom chevron invite designed by ElsieJ on Etsy and napkins created by Skoope Home on Etsy. The centerpieces were elephant candle holders from Homegoods that we affixed flower balls from FlowerMart to the top. Kristin Barry, one of the shower hosts, baked and decorated the adorable elephant cookies as the party favor.
