Local Halloween Activities


Here are some ideas for everyone in the family, including the dog!

First Annual Doggie Halloween Parade. Le Posh Pup located in PGA Commons West will be having a parade Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2 o'clock. There will be treats for everyone and costumes are not required. This is a free event.

Pumpkin Dive. Saturday October 30, 2010 at 2:30p.m. Palm Beach Gardens Recreation Center is having the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Dive. $6 for non-residents and $5 for residents you will be able to jump into the pool find your perfect pumpkin, decorate it then take it home. Only 100 pumpkins available for event.

Fall Festival. Saturday October 30, 2010 at 6-8p.m. Palm Beach Gardens Recreation Center 4404 Burns Road. There will be trick or treating for the kids, music, flashlight egg haunt, candy corn count, and a costume contest. This is a free event to attend, there will be food and drinks for purchase.

Spookyville. South Florida Fairgrounds, Yesteryear Village, 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach FL 33411. A Safe place to trick or treat for children 12 ad under. Loaded with fun and treats in a safe, family-friendly environment. On Saturday, October 30, participate in costume contests and children fun games, face painting and pass the pumpkin and many more. Hours/dates of Operation: October 30th and 31st 3-9p.m. Rides and food Pavilion open until 11p.m. Admission is $5; age 2 and younger are free. Ride wristbands are $10.

Moonfest 2010. Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, FL. The largest single night street party in Palm Beach County is back! Moonfest will be held on October, 30th from 7p.m. until 1a.m. on Clematis Street with the festivities continuing at the local bars until 4a.m. There will be a R.I.P. (V.I.P.) area for $30 ($40 on the night) where you can eat and drink all night. Carnival rides, two stages with 10 local bands, a costume contest with the winners receiving $1000 in cash and prizes, DJ booths on the street, a laster light show, food vendors and merchandise vendors.

Boo Bash Block Party. Saturday, October 30th Abacoa Town Center from 4-11p.m. will be having a block party for all. The kids can trick or treat at the local businesses and for $10 you can buy a bracelet for all you can bounce, slide, climb and drink sodas. All proceeds will go to the Kids Cancer Foundation. For adults $15 all you can drink beer wrist bands will be sold along with live music acts and costume contests.
