Hot spots in Houston BHLDN and Tiny Boxwoods

This past weekend I was in Houston for a wedding and was excited to check out Anthropologie's newest store BHLDN with friend and fellow event planner, Kristin from Bellafare. After our GPS led us to the wrong destination...a culd-a-sac in a neighborhood...we finally found the store and it was even more than I anticipated. There were so many unique elements from wedding dresses, shoes, headpieces and jewelry to decor details, including vintage plates and glasses turned into pedestals, laser cut paper napkin rings and wooden pegged leg placeholders. We also came across the cutest brunch place ever. Sharing the lawn with a garden store, Tiny Boxwoods' looks like a page in a magazine. We liked it so much we went two days in a row. The large chalkboard menu changed slightly from day to day but had amazing brunch cocktails like the white wine mojito and out of this world sandwiches, breakfast pizzas, heavenly biscuits and chocolate chip cookies. If you're ever in the area it is worth the stop. And of course I made a stop to The Galleria...everything is bigger in Texas.
